1.- Information about the Data Controller

The controller responsible for processing personal data is TERRAZA, S.L., with VAT number ES B08219396, registered office at Ciutat d’Asunción 26, Nave I-J, C.P. 08030 Barcelona, duly registered in the Mercantile Registry, Volume 23985, Folio 8, Sheet B-62209, Entry 13.

2.- Purpose of Processing Personal Data

2.1. Category of Data Collected:

The personal data collected are identifying data which, under no circumstances, are considered special categories of data or data relating to criminal convictions or offences.

2.2. For what purpose will we process your personal data?

At TERRAZA, S.L., we process the personal data collected for the following purposes:

a) In the event of contracting the services of TERRAZA, S.L., to maintain the contractual relationship, as well as manage, administer, inform, provide, and improve the service.
b) Sending information requested by the data subject.
c) Publishing comments you make on the TERRAZA, S.L. blog and interacting with the website’s features.
d) Managing registration for events organized by TERRAZA, S.L.
e) Sending newsletters and commercial communications regarding promotions and/or advertising for TERRAZA, S.L.’s services and events through various channels.
f) Sending commercial communications for products and/or services of sponsors of events organized by TERRAZA, S.L.
g) To offer products and/or services according to your interests, we will create a “commercial profile” based on the information you have provided to us, but no automated decisions will be made based on this profile that produce legal effects or similar significant effects.
h) If you send us your CV for any of our job offers, we will process your data so you can participate in recruitment processes, analyzing your profile to determine whether you are a suitable candidate for any available vacancy.
i) If you provide us with your data to apply to join our Partner Program, we will process your data to manage your status as a TERRAZA, S.L. PARTNER.

2.3. How long will the personal data collected be kept?

Personal data will be kept for as long as there is mutual interest in maintaining the purpose of processing and for the time period in which liabilities may arise from the services provided to the data subject:

  • 6 years for accounting records, invoices, etc. (Article 30 of the Spanish Commercial Code).
  • 5 years for personal legal actions without a special term (Art. 1.964 Civil Code).
  • 4 years for tax-related obligations (Articles 66 et seq. of the General Tax Law).

Specifically, personal data of job candidates will be kept until the recruitment process ends or for a maximum of 1 year thereafter.

When no longer needed for such purposes, they will be deleted using appropriate security measures to guarantee data pseudonymization or complete destruction.

3.- Legal Basis

The processing of your data is based on the legal grounds provided by your request for information and/or the contracting of TERRAZA, S.L. products and/or services, whose terms and conditions will be made available to you before any possible contracting.

Processing may also be based on your free, specific, informed, and unequivocal consent, which is given after being provided with the information in this Privacy Policy and by taking a clear affirmative action, such as ticking a checkbox.

You may withdraw your consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing based on consent prior to its withdrawal.

4.- Recipients

Data will not be communicated to any third party outside TERRAZA, S.L., except where required by law or expressly informed.

Data processors contracted by TERRAZA, S.L. may have access to the personal data, under the corresponding data processing agreement, in accordance with applicable data protection laws.

6.- Consequences of Not Providing the Requested Data

If you do not provide the data marked as mandatory on the form, or provide them incorrectly or incompletely, we will not be able to process your request, making it impossible to provide the requested information or to proceed with any potential contracting of services.
